CampaignZERO Talk at The Senior Center of Leesburg

June 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Come join us for a CampaignZERO talk on June 7!

Highlights of our presentation include:

  • The most common hospital hazards and cracks in care — and how you can help prevent them
  • When to speak up and what to say when you’re worried about your loved one’s care (and worried about “looking stupid”)
  • What to expect that you’re not expecting in hospital care — and how to prepare!

What is CampaignZERO?

CampaignZERO is an effort that focuses on informing families and care partners about how to support their loved ones while they are undergoing or recovering from medical care. CampaignZERO is pro-patient and pro-provider. The goal is to look for solutions to common medical problems on both sides.

Preventable harm in hospital care is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. Most hospitals work hard to zero out harm. You can do your part, too.

CampaignZERO checklists will let you know:

What to watch for
What to say
What to do
When to get a nurse

— from the CampaignZERO website
